Yasushi’s art included the thirty-one woodblock prints of flowers or birds shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Yasushi’s picture subjects were native to his home in northern Japan. He chose to color them accurately but he sometimes simplified or distorted their shapes (e.g., pictures 1, 31).
